The Reverend Edward A. Unangst, "Pastor Ed" came to McMichaels in July 1999. A mechanic by trade, he continues working while pastoring our church. He is a man who believes that he is no better than anyone else in the church and likes to stand down in the congregation, not up in the pulpit, while delivering his message. He preaches on the Love of Christ and the wonder of His forgiveness.
Pastor Ed's Vision Statement:
To preach and witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ's birth, death and resurrection.
To be a witness to our community by our support in helping not only to feed the least of them, but to teach them to grow to feed others.
We believe that Christ's love is the most important witness to share to all people, everywhere, remembering that all people have fallen short, but Christ accepts us as we accept all. . .in love and understanding.
Here are some other things from the Pastor:
Exercise Daily . . . . Walk with the Lord!
PRAY is a 4 - letter word that you can say anywhere.
He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
Give God what's right. . . . not what's left.
And for the children: God grades on the Cross . . . Not the curve.
