We encourage our congregation to reach out to the community through various, Church - sponsored programs including:
Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network (PVEN) programs.
Youth and Young Adult Events. Scheduled regularly to encourage the young people to become more involved in church activities.
Pizza Sales, Sub Sales, Covered Dish activities, and a stand in the West End Fair serving Barbecue sandwiches all help to reach out into the community and let people become aware of McMichaels.
Jesus in the Steps - An addiction program meeting Thursday nights from 7 to 8 PM. Designed for all addictions including smoking, sex, drugs, alcohol, sugar, chocolate and more. We all have addictions. Let Jesus and the Bible help you with yours. All are welcome.
We support the Monroe County Ex=offender Re-entry Program with people who are trained to work with ex-offenders in re-entering the "real world".
We also support Habitat for Humanity with our aluminum can drive. All profits go to the Monroe County Habitat.
